  1. Do you get this if you're doing the monthly challenge, or just the weekly one?

  6. Hi,
Today I submitted a 3,000 word short story, so I met my goal of one new story this month.

  7. Winning this award reminds me of the cruel forward march of time, relentlessly shaving off slivers of my life from off the pitifully thin balloon that is my body. ALAS!

...wait I should save the "cruel forward march" part for two months. Don't read that! My point stands.

  9. I'm late in reporting it, massive ice yesterday so I didn't to the blog, but I made it!

I signed up very late, the 26th I think, but I had a couple of submissions the day before and a short by then.

I wrote 4 (finished a 5th) in January and made 4 submissions. I'm ready to go for February.

One very short piece that I submitted last week has also been accepted by Trapeze. Great way to start the year, thank you!

  10. BTW I am running a flowing fonts flash fiction writing contest with prize called Flowing Fonts. Would this count towards a W1S1 submission for those who enter? :O)
